Hi, I'm Smuse! (Sarah, if we're being formal.)

I'm a designer, artist, and founder of Smuse Creative. I partner with businesses to create memorable visual experiences through creative strategy, branding, editorial design, illustration, and custom art.

My creative career has taken me from an art gallery and the Smithsonian to agency life, freelance entrepreneurship, and leading brand strategy for a multibillion-dollar company. Although design became my profession, art has always been my first love. Today, I'm growing my fine art practice alongside a design studio that helps brands stand out.

My greatest creative strength is endless curiosity. Whether I'm developing a brand or experimenting with a new painting medium, I'm always chasing that little spark of delight that makes people stop and look twice.

When I'm not in the studio, you'll find me wandering through art museums, hitting the gym, baking something sweet (balance!), or spending time outside with my husband and our dog. I believe the best ideas come from living a curious, colorful life, and I hope to bring that same spirit to your next project.
